Brownsy is a free pet-parent companion for keeping care records, vaccine histories, Growth Timeline memories, daily care prompts, and a shareable Vet Pass PDF. This policy explains what information Brownsy handles, how it is used, and the choices you have.

The short version: Brownsy does not show advertising, does not sell or share your personal data for advertising, and does not include third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.

Information we collect

Brownsy is designed to keep your pet-care data on your own device and under your control. Depending on the features you use, the app may store locally on your device:

• Pet profile details you enter (name, breed, date of birth, weight, microchip number)
• Care records such as vaccine dates, preventatives, and notes
• Photos and memories you add to the Growth Timeline
• Vet Pass details you choose to include and export
• App preferences and settings

How we use information

Information in Brownsy is used only to provide the features you use: displaying care records, building the Growth Timeline, generating the Vet Pass, and reminding you of daily care. We do not use your content to train models, build advertising profiles, or for any other secondary purpose.

Sharing and disclosure

• We do not sell or rent personal data.
• We do not share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
• Content leaves your device only when you choose to share it, for example exporting or sending the Vet Pass PDF, or saving photos.

Advertising and tracking

Brownsy contains no advertisements and no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. We do not participate in ad networks, attribution tracking, or cross-app profiling.

Children’s privacy

Brownsy is a general-audience pet-care app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data security and retention

Your records stay on your device unless you explicitly export or share them. When you delete content or the app, the associated data is removed from your device.

Permissions

• Photos/storage: used only when you attach a proof photo or save an export
• Camera (optional): used only when you choose to capture a photo for a record

We may update this policy to reflect product changes. The "Last updated" date below will always show the current version.
